Bio

I have a boringly normal life as a University administrator, with two teenage children (one of each gender). My main vice is reading fanfic, anytime and anyplace, with its accompanying vice of envy that too may years of writing minutes, reports and briefings have left my creative writing skills null and void. I lurked for many months on Live Journal before taking the plunge to have my own account, mainly so that I can give feedback on the many fantastic writers out there without embarrassment - however, this means that I have something else on the credit card bill that I have to justify (sigh).
I value my friends and hold onto them as a defence aginst encroaching insanity - its a pity that the research area I work in is neuroscience, specifically schizophrenia - there are times when ignorance is surely bliss. The fandoms I enjoy are SG1, SGA, Buffy/Angel, the new Battlestar Galactica, and I dabble everywhere.
